Hi my name is John Ronson. This website is many years in the making. I live in Lyndhurst, Ontario, Canada, and am now retired from 40 + years of international banking. I moved to Canada from the United Kingdom in 1981 and have dabbled in photography basically all my adult life … I picked up my first digital camera about 20 years ago and never really looked back. While my passion for photography has grown, it was not without certain difficulties. It was extremely frustrating to discover as a young boy that I am colour blind! It was as a result of this my favourite medium is black and white photography. Consequently, my inclination was to work on tone and light rather than colour. Now I’m actually surprised and delighted when people express their pleasure for my work. So, with that being said, you will see that my portfolio comprises of black and white photography and textured art, which I call paintography. My favourite subjects are of landscapes and country scenes as well as those of nature.
